National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week
Each year, during the second week of April, telecommunications personnel in the public safety community are honored. Please join us in celebrating and recognizing their hard work and dedication to keeping our communities safe during times of crisis.
Many members of our union are the first and most critical contact a person will have with emergency services. Dispatchers and 911 professionals work each day to protect citizens and first responders through unwavering professionalism and grace under pressure.
We encourage each and every telecommunicator to take time this week to celebrate the accomplishments of you and your coworkers. We urge all citizens to join NAGE in celebrating the lifesaving work performed by dispatchers, 911 operators, and all public safety telecommunications personnel.
